How to Cure Type 2 Diabetes Permanently

Many people all over the world, including both adults and children, now suffer from diabetes. It is an ailment that causes a sudden rise in the glucose level in the blood. We need glucose for the steady supply of energy to our body cells. This absorption of glucose is promoted by a hormone called insulin, which is secreted by the pancreas. If insulin fails to function properly, the glucose level rises abnormally, and this condition is called diabetes. People can suffer from three types of diabetes, namely type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes.

Type 2 diabetes : Type 2 diabetes is a chronic ailment that demands continuous treatment and caution. When a sufficient amount of insulin is not produced in the body, the glucose level becomes very high. Body cells may not react to insulin as usual, which is another reason for type 2 diabetes. Though it is also called adult-onset diabetes, even children are found to be affected by this health problem. However, only overweight kids are diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, whereas it is more common in adults.

Is there a cure for diabetes? 

A permanent cure is not yet known for person with diabetes suffering from type 2 diabetes. They need to abide by certain restrictions throughout their life, to ensure good health and longer life. Doctors prescribe medicines or insulin injections to diabetes person with diabetes, to keep their blood sugar level at a check. person with diabetes need to manage their diabetic condition by bringing some healthy changes in their lifestyle, as recommended by their doctors. Without necessary precautions, the blood sugar level rises abruptly, which can be dangerous for diabetic person with diabetes. So, they need to take medicines at the right time, as per the prescribed doses. 

Methods to cure type 2 diabetes naturally at home 

Healthy eating: A person with diabetes suffering from type 2 diabetes should eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, containing various vitamins and minerals. Whole grains such as brown rice and whole-grain wheat, are considered healthy cereals for diabetic person with diabetes. Beans, lentils, almonds, sunflower seeds and other forms of legumes, nuts and healthy seeds should be included in a diabetic diet chart. Chicken, lean pork, fish and eggs are rich sources of protein for diabetic person with diabetes. Unsweetened yoghurt and toned milk are also needed for a healthy diet of a diabetic person with diabetes.

Control your carbs: Diabetic person with diabetes need to control their daily carbohydrate intake, to minimise the glucose level in the blood. They may consult a dietician regarding how to cure type 2 diabetes, who can suggest the best low-carb diet. Only 45–60 gm of carbohydrates can be taken in a day, which should be divided into 3–5 servings. They can eat only brown rice, whole-wheat bread or pasta, barley or quinoa in their daily meals. 

Physical activity: Regular exercise is essential for every diabetic person with diabetes. Aged people may do some light aerobic exercises for at least 30 min a day or 150 min a week.  Walking, running, swimming, dancing and cycling are other options of moderate physical activities recommended for diabetic person with diabetes. Resistance workouts at gyms can be useful for younger people where they can practice weightlifting and some callisthenics exercises. The habit of doing household chores such as cleaning and mowing the lawn also helps in maintaining good health.

Weight loss: Obesity is a major cause of type 2 diabetes. Thus, person with diabetes need to strive for weight loss by living a strict lifestyle as recommended by their doctors. They should maintain definite goals for weight loss, to manage their diabetic problems effectively. They will be healthier if they can manage to lose a considerable amount of weight. 

Individuals living with prediabetes or gestational diabetes are also in danger of being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes if they do not take care of their diet and lifestyle. So, it is essential to be careful from an early age, mainly for overweight people and those who have cases of diabetes in the family history.  Type 2 diabetes is a chronic health problem that has no permanent cure. However, they can reverse their condition and lead a healthy and happy life if they follow some easy lifestyle methods such as eating healthy foods, limiting carbohydrate intake, regular exercises and maintaining optimum body weight.
