About Dr. S.R. Aravind
Dr. S.R. Aravind is one of the leading Diabetes and Endocrinology experts in the country with over 30 years of experience. Dr. Aravind is the Chairman & Managing Director of Diacon Hospital (Diabetes Care & Research Centre) and has previously practised at some of the leading hospitals in the country.
He completed his MBBS from Bangalore Medical College and has done DNB in Internal Medicine and Diploma in Hospital Administration. Dr. Aravind has a Fellowship in Diabetology from the Diabetes Research Center, Madras and has gone on to complete FRCP (Glasgow), FRCP (Edinburgh) and FRSSDI.
Dr. Aravind has held several leading positions in the Diabetes domain in India, including President, Diabetes India, Ex-President, Research Society for Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI); Secretary General, Diabetes India; Ex-Chairman, Karnataka, RSSDI and Founder Member, Diabetic Foot Society of India amongst others.
